Hungary´s first rural Zoo and Botanical Garden and the only classical Amusement Park has been waiting for visitors since 1958!

In a dreamy garden among the magical trees of the Great Forest in Debrecen, on 17 hectares, you can admire around 1,500 specimens of 165 species from five continents. In addition to the old catwalks built in the past decades, dynamically changing, new "habitat"-type displays are also visible. Among the special values ​​of the garden are the white-handed gibbons. Visitor favorites include two-toed sloths, black-headed spider monkeys, and tufted giraffe. The daughter of the Nile hippopotamus, Linda and Szigfrid, has grown into a leading lady at Disneyland in San Diego, USA. Several special bird species can be seen only here in Hungary.

With 15 games, the Amusement Park is the largest permanent amusement park in Tiszántúl. Both young and old are happy to try out the thematic enchanted castle, dodgem, children´s railway, and the carousel made at the end of the 1800s, which is a relic of industrial history. The Ferris wheel delights children with a wonderful view, and during the pony ride, they can have a real life-changing experience. Every year in August, the Amusement Park hosts the free Galiba Children´s Festival.
